- Start
rice cooking in rice cooker
- Finely dice
½ a yellow onion, 1-2 cloves garlic, and 1-2 stalks of celery
- Grate
1 inch piece of ginger
- Brown
1.5 lb ground beef with ginger, garlic, onion, and celery
- While
beef is cooking, slice white ends of 4 green onions and add to beef
- When
beef is done cooking, drain the fat from the beef
- Add
½- 1 C soyaki sauce to beef
- Mix
1 T cornstarch with 1 T COLD water
- Add
to beef and stir until thickened
- Slice
green parts of green onions and sprinkle over beef
- Serve over rice with steamed broccoli, extra teriyaki sauce, and sriracha or hot chili oil for those who like it spicier.
